Sandra is fascinated by how the human form can be combined with flora and fauna, geometry, alchemy and mythology from all cultures of the world, both ancient and modern. Her main subject is often beautiful women, but adding elements that make the bigger picture mysterious, ominous and unsettling.

She also thoroughly enjoys observing animals, birds, bugs, and how they interact with the world, occasionally adding a human element to the world of fauna.
